My eyes are red and my stomach is in knots as a write this tonight. I just found out that a good friend of mine from high school not only lost her home to a fire early this morning, but also lost her husband, her 4 year old son and her 8 month old daughter. (If you would like to read more about what happened, please visit this site. There is also a news video that can be found here.)
I cannot imagine the pain she must be feeling today and how hard this is going to be for her to overcome. I'm asking for prayers for her and her 12 year step daughter who survived the fire. (There will also be a fund set up soon and if there is a way to donate online, I will give an update on this post for those who may be interested.) They will have a long road of healing and I'm sure they could use any support that they can get. Thank you so much in advance! :-)
I am so sorry... Will be lifting them up in prayer. So terribly sad.

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness that is so horrible. Praying for her right now... Give her lots of hugs.
ReplyDeleteThis is so tragic. How do you move forward after something like that. The poor woman, my heart is aching for her. Please send me her address so I can send her a handkerchief from my For Your Tears blog. I know she won't be living there but it will be forwarded to her. I can't stop crying ~ WHY ~ this is so sad. I will pray for them.
ReplyDeleteSaying a prayer right now.
ReplyDeleteI can't even fathom the grief. Sending my prayers, because right now that's what is needed the most. The Lord can go where we can't and comfort those hurting.
