The first activity we did was one I came across at Disney's Family Fun magazine website. We used a heart-shaped cookie cutter to make a potato stamp then stamped a white sheet of paper with 3 hearts to form a shamrock! It was super easy, though Morgan needed a little help with the placement of the stamp :-).
Morgan with a goofy pose and a finished shamrock.
Morgan ended up doing several shamrocks on her own and was quite proud of them! :-)
We made 3 shamrocks, one for here, and then one for each set of grandparents to wish them a Happy St. Patrick's Day! :-)
What a great idea. They look great !!

What a fun idea, but paint and the boys not my best plan unless we are outside ... lol
ReplyDeleteYou're such an awesome mom!
You lost me on step one LOL ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm so not an artsy person - as good as it gets over here is me dumping a pile of paper, paint and brushes on the table and letting the boys go for it (ummm generally outside) LOL
How fun!
ReplyDeleteI remember making stamps out of potatoes years ago. Looks like she had fun.
