From Executive Producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett comes The Bible — an epic 10-part miniseries retelling stories from the Scriptures for a whole new generation. Breathtaking in scope and scale, The Bible features powerful performances, exotic locales and dazzling visual effects that breathe spectacular life into the dramatic tales of faith and courage from Genesis through Revelation. This historic television event is sure to entertain and inspire the whole family! Where will YOU be 3.3.13?

I'm a little disappointed that I only have basic TV, so I won't be able to watch this when it is airs, but I still wanted to share it with my readers so that you may watch it!  "The Bible" miniseries premieres Sunday, March 3rd at 8:00pm EST on the History Channel and will air two 1 hour episodes each Sunday night for 5 weeks.  I hope you check it out and if you do, let me know how you like it! :-)

To learn more about "The Bible" miniseries, to purchase study guides, church kits or watch clips, please visit The Bible resource website.

Unfortunately, the first winner didn't leave a way for me to contact them, so random.org then came up with #6, who is Anonymous!  Congrats to them! :-)

I also have one of the following "A Story of God and All of Us" books to give away to a very lucky reader! (The prize will be chosen randomly from the books listed.)
• A Story of God and All of Us (HARDCOVER)
• A Story of God and All of Us (REFLECTIONS)
• A Story of God and All of Us (YOUNG READERS)

To enter to win, please leave a comment below with your results from taking the Bible-scene Quiz in the The Bible Blog App. (When taking the quiz notice that the time it takes you effects your results, so the quicker you are the better your score!) OR you can let me know what your favorite story is in the Bible that you'd like to see portrayed in this miniseries. Please be sure to leave your e-mail address, so that I can contact you if you're the winner!

Giveaway will end Wednesday, March 13th, 2013 at 10:00pm EST. Winner will be chosen that night and contacted via e-mail. The winner will have 48 hours to respond otherwise I will have to choose a new winner.

*Disclosure:  The information in this post and the book to giveaway was provided by the History Channel.  I was not compensated in any way for sharing this information with you.  Any opinions are my own.
