First Day of School 2013

The kids had a great first day of school a couple weeks back and they love their teachers.  Rich usually likes to see them off their first day, but this is the first year he missed.  He had been so busy at work, he forgot to ask for the couple extra hours off that morning.  I know he was really bummed, but I'm sure he'll be with us again next year. :-)

 They're in the same school again this year.  They were in separate schools last year, so they're enjoying seeing each other at times throughout the day.

 Morgan was a bundle of nerves, which made it hard to leave her.  It also made me emotional, but she did great!

A Very Proud Little Girl!

Today Morgan insisted on wearing a sweater that her Aunt Katie made for her instead of the shirt that went with her outfit. Not a problem. It's a little short on her, but at least it will keep her warm. I helped her get her arms in the sleeves then left it alone. Well, she worked and worked at it until she had three of the buttons done up! She yelled "Mommy, I did it! I did it!" It was too cute and I, of course, had to take a picture to remember the first time Morgan buttoned up her shirt all by herself. :-)
