Wordless Wednesday: Flooding

This is our local swinging bridge and the park on the other side...as you can see the park is completely under water.  The bridge was closed because the water was dangerously close to the bottom of it the day before.

Not good! And we are suppose to get a ton more rain starting tomorrow! :(

Oh no!

2 years ago we had major flooding going on. We had to take alternative routes from Nebraska to Iowa to Missouri.

Then last year is was so dry; we needed rain.

I wish there was a way to hold onto to the excess water and use it when we need it.

Wow! we have been getting a lot of flooding here in the UK the last couple of summers too
